Martin Virtual School was established to provide our students with a high quality virtual program. MVS consists of a full-time program for students in grades K-12. The following criteria provided to allow families to make an informed decision about enrollment in MVS.
Eligibility - Section 1002.45, Florida Statutes restricts student eligibility for the district virtual instruction program to students residing within the district's attendance area, if the student meets at least one of the following conditions:
- Students must have spent the prior school year in attendance at a public school in Florida OR
- Has a sibling in participating K-8 virtual program that attended during the prior year.
- Be the dependent of a member of the military who was transferred in the last 12 months OR
- Was enrolled during the prior school year in a K-8 Virtual School Program under s. 1002.415, F.S.
Registration requirements are defined below for:
Enrolling New to Martin County School Students must submit the following:
- Student Registration Form
- Records Request Form
- MVS Program Information / Participant Agreement Form
- Proof of residency (purchase contract, or lease/rental agreement or current FPL or cable statement)
- Proof of physical examination within the last 12 months – Form 3040
- Proof of Immunization on Department of Health - Form 680
- Original Birth Certificate
- Copy of the last report card
*** Families registering more than one child must submit one for each child.
Original Documents must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on September 4, 2009 to:
